Carolie Verde is a proud Sartenejeña with a deep passion for education, tourism, and the Earth’s natural resources. With a robust academic background, she holds a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management. Her teaching career spans several esteemed institutions, including Sarteneja Baptist High School, Chunox St. Viator Vocational High School, and St. John’s College High School, where she served as a Religion Teacher and Campus Minister. Carolie’s commitment to conservation and community development is evident through her volunteer work with BTIA and BTB. She believes in the power of individuals to contribute towards a fundamentally strong society and actively supports and respects each stakeholder of the Corozal Bay Wildlife Sanctuary (CBWS). Since 2008, she has been a dedicated supporter of SACD, advocating for its growth and prosperity. She has also represented Belize’s CBOs on the PACT Board of Directors. Currently, Carolie is a mentor at Muffles Junior College, continuing to inspire and guide the next generation.
