Diveana Samos was born and raised in Sarteneja Village. She completed her primary and secondary studies at Sarteneja La Inmaculada R.C. School and St. Viator. After secondary school, she moved to Chetumal, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Marketing and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Diveana’s passion for conservation grew from observing her peers’ dedication to protecting the environment and wildlife, inspiring her to join their efforts. Currently, she serves as the Business Manager of SACD, where her goal is to collaborate with community members to find new income opportunities while maximizing benefits for the Corozal Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
