Nazlie first joined the Sarteneja Alliance for Conservation and Development (SACD) as a community researcher, where she developed a strong appreciation for the organization’s mission and its impact on local livelihoods. During her time in the field, she discovered a deep passion for working with numbers, which have since become central to her role in supporting SACD’s operations. 

Now serving as Finance Assistant, Nazlie plays an integral part in managing the organization’s financial activities, including budgeting, reporting, and tracking expenditures across various projects. Her commitment to accuracy and transparency ensures that SACD maintains accountability in all its conservation and community initiatives. Nazlie holds an Associate’s Degree and continues to grow professionally within the organization, motivated by her belief that strong financial management is key to sustaining meaningful conservation efforts in Corozal Bay and beyond.
