Lisbeth Cabral

Lisbeth Cabral serves as the Tourism Expert on the Board of Directors at the Sarteneja Alliance for Conservation and Development (SACD). She brings her extensive experience to SACD, having passionately contributed to Belize’s tourism industry for the past 16 years. Lisbeth’s expertise spans education, the accommodations sector, tourism marketing, and active involvement with tourism associations. Currently, Lisbeth is a Tourism lecturer and Head of the Tourism Department at Centro Escolar Mexico Junior College, where she has been teaching for the past decade. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management from the University of Belize and a Master’s Degree in Education from the Universidad Interamericana para el Desarrollo in Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Lisbeth enjoys teaching, traveling, dancing, and engaging with people. She takes great pride in every opportunity to enhance her knowledge and experience, always striving to serve her country and community better. One of her most cherished accomplishments is founding the CEMJC Pioneers Tourism Volunteer Club in 2014. This group, composed of youths pursuing degrees in tourism, aims to promote sustainability and a love for the environment while balancing tourism development and nature conservation. Her lifetime motto is: “Live for today, because yesterday is gone, and tomorrow may never come.”
